IS CMC ROCKS QLD ALL AGES?

Yes! CMC Rocks QLD 2024 is an all ages event.  However, all children aged under 18 years of age (Minors) must be accompanied at all times in the Campground and Festival Site by a responsible adult, parent or guardian.

Tickets for Minors can only be purchased with an Adult (18+) Ticket. There are two (2) ticket categories for Minors: 

(a) Junior Ticket 4 Years – 14 Years: children who are 4 years and over (as at 15 March 2024) are to buy a Junior Full Festival Ticket, or a Junior Full Festival & Camping Ticket (as required).  

(b) Youth Ticket 15 Years – 17 Years:  persons 15 years and over but under 18 years of age (as at 15 March 2024) are to buy a Youth Full Festival Ticket, or a Youth Full Festival & Camping Ticket (as required).

Children aged 3 Years and Under: Children aged 3 years and under (as at 15 March 2024) are admitted free of charge and do not require a ticket to gain entry to the Festival Site, Campgrounds or Camp Site.  

You will be required to present proof of age for all minors. A copy of a birth certificate is an acceptable proof of age.  

All Adults (18+) must have valid proof of age photo ID to purchase or consume alcohol in the Festival Site. Digital licenses are accepted as a form of ID. You will need to open the app and login in to show security. Screenshots will not be accepted. 

HOW DO I BUY TICKETS?

Moshtix is the only authorised ticket seller for CMC Rocks QLD 2024. 

CMC cannot guarantee any ticket purchase made through any means other than Moshtix (for example, via Unauthorised Resellers or via websites such as eBay, Gumtree and social media Buy Swap Sell pages).

CMC does not allocate any Festival Tickets or Camping Tickets to Unauthorised Resellers (which include but are not limited to: Viagogo; Stubhub; Ticketfinders; The Ticket Merchant; Worldticketshop; and Tixel).

IS THERE A PENSIONER OR CONCESSION TICKET AVAILABLE?

No, there are only three ticket categories available: Adult (18+ years old), Youth (15-17 years old) and Junior (4-14 years old). Children aged 3 years and under (as at 15 March 2024) are admitted free of charge and do not require a ticket to gain entry to the Festival Site or Campground.

IS THERE A GROUP DISCOUNT AVAILABLE?

No, unfortunately there are no group discounts available.

IS THERE A PAYMENT PLAN AVAILABLE?

Yes, CMC is offering a payment plan option via Moshtix and PayPal’s Pay in 4 for those wanting to pay off their CMC Ticket purchase. If you’d like to use the payment plan option, make sure you have an active PayPal Account set up and ready to go PRIOR to the presale starting.

There are 4 Steps*:

  1. After choosing your tickets via Moshtix, check out with PayPal 
  2. A PayPal window will come up, select ‘PayPal in 4’ and complete your purchase
  3. If approved, you will make the first payment at the time of your purchase 
  4. You will pay the balance across 3 payments – one payment every 2 weeks

There is a limit of $2,000.00 and payments cannot be split across multiple payment methods if the order/transaction total exceeds $2,000.00. If your order does exceed $2,000 you would need to do a second order/transaction for the remaining tickets.

WHAT IS GENERAL ADMISSION?

CMC ROCKS QLD 2024 is a General Admission Standing Event. This means there is no reserved or allocated seating. 

This may change depending on any COVID Safe guidelines that the festival is required to comply with. We will notify you if this happens. 

Unless otherwise notified, patrons will be able to bring their own chairs into the Festival Site.  For 2024, CMC will publish Chair Guidelines closer to the festival, stay tuned to our socials for updates. Chairs are allowed in all areas except the semi-circular Chair Exclusion Zone in front of the Stampede and Rebel stages. 

I ONLY WANT TO BUY A SINGLE DAY TICKET, CAN I STILL CAMP?

No. Camping Tickets are only available for people who purchase FULL FESTIVAL Tickets.

CAN I BUY VIP TICKETS?

The Station VIP Upgrades are sold out for CMC Rocks 2024.

WHAT IF I BUY A TICKET AND THEN CAN’T GO?

CMC’s official Resale, Ticket Return & Reissue Facilities via Moshtix will open at 9am AEST Wed 31 Jan. This is the ONLY place you can safely sell and buy pre-loved CMC Rocks tickets.  

Resale looks a little different this year, where it allows you to list your Full Festival, Single Day and Overflow Parking Ticket for sale through a unique link that you share with your buyer directly. Please note due to Campsite Tickets including Campground Entries and Campground Entry credits, Campsite Tickets cannot be directly resold, however these tickets can be reissued into your buyer’s name (see below Reissue section for further information).

Ticket Return allows you to upload your unwanted ticket on the Moshtix website, where it will be available to be purchased by anyone from the public.  Please note: Ticket Return is not a ticket refund. If your unwanted Ticket is not purchased, you do not receive any money.  

Please note: We suggest using Reissue for your Campsite Ticket.  If your Campsite Ticket is sold via Ticket Return, your associated Campground Entries and unclaimed Campground Entry credits will no longer be valid. Any claimed Campground Entries or unredeemed Campground Entry credits related to your order for the resold Campsite Ticket will be cancelled.  

Reissue allows you to change the name on your ticket.  If you need to change the name on your ticket, you will be able to do this via Moshtix from 9am AEST on Wed 31 Jan.

HOW MANY TICKETS CAN I BUY?

You can buy up to six (6) Festival tickets + one (1) Camp Site Ticket per transaction.

DO YOU ACCEPT COMPANION CARDS?

Yes we do, there is a maximum 1 carer per paid ticket holder.

The Carer will be eligible for the same entry ticket type as the paid ticket holder. 

Tickets will be issued for the Companion prior to the Festival but must be pre-arranged with Moshtix via tixsupport.moshtix.com.au

Companions must arrive at the Festival with the paid ticket holder, and must present a valid Companion Card and valid Photo ID to gain entry to the Festival.

The process for Companion Cards is as follows:

  1. Patron purchases ticket/s.
  2. Patron submits request via Moshtix Tix Support and provides all required information, including a copy of their Companion Card.
  3. All approved requests will be issued their complimentary companion tickets closer to the Festival.

IS IT EASY TO MOVE AROUND THE FESTIVAL AND THE CAMPGROUNDS?

As this is an outdoor event, the Festival Site and Campgrounds can be affected by any inclement weather and both the grass area and roads can become very muddy.  We recommend you consider this in planning for the Festival. As always, we encourage patrons to notify Festival personnel if they require assistance at any time.

Festival Site

The Festival is located within Willowbank Raceway which is a grassed, outdoor but mostly flat area. There are a few gravel roads (but these are not around the entire Festival Site) and there are also some uneven surfaces across the Festival Site.

Campgrounds

The Campgrounds are located outside Willowbank Raceway and are predominantly large grass fields with some bitumen / gravel unsealed roads.

Campground A is the most accessible to the Festival Site and CMC recommends Campground A as the best option for any patrons who have accessibility requirements. All Campgrounds will have accessible amenities.

HOW DO I ADD PEOPLE TO CAMP SITE TICKETS?

There are entry passes that you will need to claim.

To claim these passes, log into your Moshtix account and then go to the CMC Rocks event page (this is not your account page but the page that lists all the CMC Rocks ticket options) and you should see a blue box that has claim your tickets on it.

how do i change the name on my ticket?
  1. To Reissue (change the name on my ticket), the original purchaser must log in to their Moshtix account
  2. Select the "Manage Tickets" option on the upper right hand side, select the "Reissue" option, and follow the prompts to enter the new attendee’s details.
  3. Once the transaction has been approved, the reissued tickets will be sent to the original purchaser via email.
WHAT SHOULD I DO ABOUT TYPOS IN NAME AND DOB?

1. To get help with an existing order, the original purchaser must log into their Moshtix account

2. Select the "Manage Tickets & Booking History" option under option under the "My Account" heading.

3. Select the "Help with this Order" option and follow the on screen prompts to submit your enquiry.

4. Once the enquiry has been sent all replies and follow-ups will be sent via email to the account holder.

The "Help Form" can also be accessed while viewing your digital tickets where this is available. You can access this option by clicking the three dots next to your tickets to open the menu.
