General Info

CAMPSITE PASSES

Only one (1) Camp Site Pass Ticket is issued for each Camping Site purchased. For entry into the Campgrounds each vehicle must have a separate Camp Site Pass Ticket. Additional Vehicles will require an Overflow Parking Ticket for the Overflow Car Park (these can be purchased online from Moshtix).

OVERFLOW CAR PARKING

Overflow Car Parking will be located in A, B and C Campgrounds. Please refer to the Campers Entry Map page for detailed instructions on how to enter the Campgrounds. All Campers who require Overflow Car Parking must purchase it in advance from Moshtix.

We strongly recommend carpooling whenever possible, as it not only makes entry into the Campgrounds and Festival Site faster but also benefits the environment.

SELECTION OF CAMPING SITES

All Camping Sites will be allocated by the CMC Camp Marshals on the first come, first served basis. If you wish to camp with friends, you must all arrive together and have purchased the same size and type of Camping Site (e.g. Small, Medium No Power, Medium With Power, Large) in the same Campgrounds as all Camping Site sizes are located in separate areas.

CAMP SITE LAYOUT

The below details relate to the layout of each Camp Site within the Festival Campgrounds.

SMALL SITE (NO POWER) - 3.5m x 3.5m (square)

MEDIUM SITE (NO POWER) - 5m (deep) x 6m (front)

MEDIUM SITE (WITH POWER) - 5m (deep) x 6m (front)

LARGE SITE (WITH POWER) - 6m (deep) x 12m (front)

THE INN SMALL SITE - 3m (deep) x 4.5m (front)

THE INN MEDIUM SITE - 2.7m (deep) x 5.1m (front)

THE RANCH MEDIUM SITE - 5m (deep) x 6m (front)

THE RANCH LARGE SITE - 6m (deep) x 12m (front)

ALCOHOL IN THE CAMPGROUNDS

All CMC Campgrounds are strictly an alcohol-free zone. Vehicles entering the Campgrounds may be searched. Any alcohol found will be confiscated, not returned and the offending patron(s) may be evicted from the Festival Site and Campgrounds for the remainder of the Festival.

VEHICLE MOVEMENT

To avoid traffic congestion and ensure the safety of all camping patrons, vehicles brought into the Campgrounds (including the Overflow Car Park) are not permitted to leave the Campgrounds (or Overflow Car Park) under any circumstances until the Approved Departure Time.

Vehicles are not permitted to be driven around the Campgrounds for any reason (this includes ferrying passengers between entry gates and the designated Camp Site or the Overflow Car Park).

Approved Departure Time means either of the following:

Midnight (AEST) on Sunday 17 March 2024 (12:00am AEST Monday 18 March 2024) – 06:00am AEST on Monday 18 March 2024

6:00am – 12:00pm (AEST) on Monday 18 March 2024 with traffic restrictions in place.

Any breach of this condition may result in your eviction from the Festival Site and Campgrounds for the remainder of the Festival. If you are evicted for breach of this condition you will not be entitled to any refund for your Festival Ticket or Camping Ticket.

RUBBISH AND SUSTAINABILITY

Upon arrival, Camp Site Marshals will be handing garbage bags out to you, please use these or your own. Fill ‘em up and drop ‘em to the end of your camping row throughout the weekend for collection by our waste and recycling team.

Green bins will be onsite for your empty drink containers. Partnering with the Containers for Change program means 10 cents from every container will be donated to Aussie Helpers and Thankful for Farmers.

GENERATORS

If you are bringing your own generator, you must have it switched off between Midnight and 7am.

FOOD + DRINK + ICE

You're allowed to bring food and drinks (non-alcoholic) into the Campgrounds. If you don't feel like cooking, there is a small selection of food and coffee outlets available in all Campgrounds and a large selection in the Festival grounds!

Ice will be available within the Campgrounds to purchase. Drinking water is available at various locations at all Campgrounds. There is no capacity to supply water via tap or hose to any individual Camp Sites.

FIRST AID

Campgrounds A + B head to the nearest Marshal Station and they will contact First Aid. Campground C has a First Aid Station within the grounds (refer to Campground Map). You can also text the Patron Help Line on 0482 082 812.

SNAKES, FIRE ANTS & OTHER PESTS

Venomous snakes have been spotted across the Festival and Campground areas over the past week and Fire Ants have been known to visit the area. If you spot a snake or fire ants or pests that you’re not sure of, we recommend you DO NOT get close to them. Monitor from a safe distance; advise your closest Security Guard, Camp Site Marshall, Event Staff member ASAP or text the Patron Help Line on 0482 082 812.

DUMP POINTS

There will be three (3) dump points in C Campground to empty your cassettes. A & B Campgrounds, you can dump in the toilets. Please do not allow your grey water to be dumped onto the ground - this is unhygienic and irresponsible. Please use the dump points or contact our Camping Marshals for further advice.

LEAVING THE FESTIVAL

To avoid traffic congestion and ensure the safety of all camping patrons, vehicles brought into the Campgrounds (including the Overflow Car Park) are not permitted to leave the Campgrounds (or Overflow Car Park) under any circumstances until the Approved Departure Time.

We expect traffic to be busy on Monday morning after the Festival. To ease congestion for local traffic, all vehicles leaving the Campgrounds between 6:00am and 9:00am on Monday 18 March will be directed via a controlled release system. We strongly encourage our campers to delay their departure until after 9:00am on Monday morning.

Arriving at the GROUNDS

Once at the main Campground gates you will be directed by Camping Marshals to either A, B or C Campground. Please be patient and work with our Camping Marshal team while they assist you with setting up on a Camp Site.

Only one vehicle per Camp Site is allowed to drive directly to the Camp Site and remain at the Camp Site. Extra vehicles for the same Camp Site will be allowed to drop off equipment/luggage but then must go directly to the Overflow Carpark with a valid ticket. All Campers who require Overflow Car Parking must purchase it in advance from Moshtix.
